The RiverWoods at Exeter is a full-service Continuing Care Retirement Community located in the small town of Exeter, New Hampshire, home to Phillips-Exeter Academy. The community of is arranged in four clusters or villages, each configured around an entry space, lounge area and courtyard. Using visual cues from the school campus and surrounding residential neighborhoods, RiverWoods was designed as a shingle style residence. Steeply pitched roofs enclose three-story buildings with projecting bays, porches and solariums. The buildings are clad in cedar shingles and wood trim to harmonize with their natural and built environment.
